Doesn't Joomla 2.5 have the "loadposition" or "loadmodule" function?
I didn't find any Joomla documentation specifically but found this on Cloudaccess.net that might help https://www.cloudaccess.net/joomla-know ... a-2-5.html
The normal way is to assign the module to the article or more specifically a menu item. That's the way it's done in modern versions, not sure about back in Joomla 2.5 days. If you can use "loadmodule" or "loadposition" then you'd have to place that in every article. With the normal module assignment, it will show up in each page relevant tot eh pages or menu items you assigned it to.
